Shady Shakespeare in Saratoga!
Nonprofit theatre company presents three plays this summer at Sanborn Park in Saratoga.

The Shady Shakespeare Theatre Company presents three Shakespearean plays this summer at Sanborn/Skyline County Park in Saratoga, 16055 Sanborn Rd.
The first play of the 2013 season is Twelfth Night and began July 5 and continues through July 21.
The second and third plays, planned for July 26-Aug. 30 and Aug. 2-Sept. 1 include Romeo and Juliet and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), respectively.
An opening Champagne Gala is planned for 5:30 p.m. July 28 at Sanborn-Skyline County Park in the Peterson Grove picnic area, next to the stage.
The company, founded in 1999 by Dinna Myers, Sara Betts and Jeff Day, is celebrating the opening of its 15th season, according to information on its website.
There will be champagne, or sparkling cider, lite fare and the public can meet and greet the "Shady" characters. Purchase tickets by clicking here.
The amphitheater at Sanborn Park has a maximum capacity of 350 people and Shady Shakespeare has folding chairs set out for each performance. Each show begins at 7 p.m. and tickets are $20.
