Did You Gas Up On Mt Herman Road Recently?
Scotts Valley Police say an illegal skimmer was found on a Mt Herman gas pump. Check your credit card statements if you filled up.

SCOTTS VALLEY - The Scotts Valley Police Department is warning residents about the recent recovery of a credit card skimming device from a gas station in the city.
The device was located at a gas station on Mt. Hermon Road, police said Tuesday. A technician doing routine maintenance discovered the device inside a gas pump.

Police said the device is designed to steal a customer’s credit card information when the customer makes a purchase at the pump.
The device was not visible to customers, police said.

The pump in question was serviced one week earlier and no device was discovered at the time.
