• Kiwanis Club of Scotts Valley donates 2025 Music at Skypark proceeds to local schools - Press Banner (pressbanner.com) — Scotts Valley Kiwanis has donated $17,641 from the 2025 Music at Skypark concert season to support music and arts programs in Scotts Valley Unified schools, bringing 16-year contributions to nearly $270,000. The all-volunteer club’s summer concerts have become a signature community event, backed by many local sponsors and vendors, and residents are invited to get involved in the growing service organization.
   

• Scotts Valley K-9 team surprised with Hometown Hero honor (pressbanner.com) — Scotts Valley residents recently honored Police Officer Nick Lipari and his K-9 partner Sam as Modern Woodmen Hometown Heroes during the city’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting. The narcotics-detection duo was surprised onstage, with local leaders praising their role in community safety and highlighting how strong public support keeps the Scotts Valley K-9 program thriving year-round.
