Man Arrested After Scotts Valley Traffic Stop Reveals Several Drugs: Police
Police say a police dog alerted officers to the presence of controlled substances.

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA — A 28-year-old San Jose man was arrested after a traffic stop in Scotts Valley late Thursday night revealed several illegal drugs in his possession, police said.
At about 11:55 p.m., officers stopped a car for a non-functional headlight in the area of the Scotts Village shopping center on Mount Hermon Road, according to police. A police dog alerted officers to the presence of controlled substances and a search of the vehicle revealed more than 100 Xanax pills, more than 20 hydrocodone pills, multiple Whippit canisters, packaging materials and a digital scale, police said.
Michael Condito was then searched and was found to be in possession of more than 100 additional Xanax pills, a vial with about 30 Ecstasy tabs, two containers of powder cocaine, 28 doses of LSD and more than
$1,750 in cash. Condito was arrested on suspicion of possession of the various illegal substances and was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
