Scotts Valley School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, More

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA — The first day of school in Scotts Valley is August 20 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Scotts Valley School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

November

• 11/1: No School (Professional Development)
• 11/2: No School
• 11/5: Early Release (Grades TK-5)
• 11/6 - 11/9: Parent Teacher Conferences / Minimum Day (Grades TK-5)
• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/19 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1 - 1/4: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/15 - 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day Weekend)

March

• 3/5: No School (Professional Development)

April

• 4/1 - 4/5: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

• 6/6: Last Day of School
