7 People Injured In 405 Freeway Crash: LAFD

Seven people were injured in a collision on the 405 Freeway Wednesday afternoon.

BRENTWOOD, CA — Seven people were injured in a collision involving at least two cars Wednesday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One person was in serious condition, one was in moderate condition and five were in fair condition, according to LAFD. Four ambulances took at least one person each to a local hospital, but the total number of hospitalizations was not immediately clear.

The collision was reported around 1:35 p.m. on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway near Mulholland Drive.

The collision prompted a brief Sig Alert just before 2 p.m. that has since been cleared, according to California Highway Patrol.
