The Deadline has been extended to Friday March 4.

For the second year in a row, Mayor Villaraigosa launched his annual budget survey using software from the non-profit group Next10, to create the Los Angeles Budget Challenge. In this year's survey, you can help balance the budget yourself, deciding where to cut expenditures and increase revenue sources. The Budget Challenge is loaded with information so you can learn more about the City's budget, where money comes from and goes, the process of budget-building, and the ramifications of budget cuts.
