Hit-And-Run Crash On Westbound 101 Freeway Causes Traffic Backup

SHERMAN OAKS, CA — A hit and run crash on the westbound State Route 101 is currently causing a traffic slowdown in Sherman Oaks. The crash was reported around 9:55 a.m. near the Interstate 405 interchange, California Highway Patrol said.
Two or three cars were involved in the crash. A Black Infinity was in the left most lane after being struck by a gray Honda, CHP said.
The Honda fled the scene according to CHP. Another car was sitting on the right shoulder, and it was unknown if it was also involved in the crash.
