Rollover Crash On Southbound 405 Shuts Down Three Lanes

Witnesses said a car rolled over several times and was blocking the inner two lanes.

SHERMAN OAKS, CA — A crash involving multiple cars just took place on the southbound 405 near Sepulveda Boulevard in Sherman Oaks Thursday morning. The collision occurred around 9:24 a.m.

A witness told California Highway Patrol a dark car rolled over several times and was blocking the inner two lanes on the freeway. The number of victims or the severity of their injuries wasn't immediately known, but an ambulance was dispatched to the scene to treat the patients.

Los Angeles Fire Department units were called to stop traffic at Sepulveda Boulevard so the wreckage could be removed. A SigAlert was issued at 9:33 a.m. blocking the inner two lanes and the express lane for at least one hour.
