Police Blotter: Burglaries and Petty Thefts

The following crimes in Sherman Oaks were reported to the Los Angeles Police Department during Aug. 12-18, as compiled by the Los Angeles Times.

Aug. 12

An attempted burglary was reported at 9:30 a.m. in the 4100 block of Sunnyslope Avenue.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 4 p.m. in the 4700 block of Lemona Avenue.

A shoplifting (petty) was reported at 6:55 p.m. in the 14000 block of Riverside Drive.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 8 p.m. in the 4600 block of Noble Avenue.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 10 p.m. in the 4600 block of Lemona Avenue.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 11 p.m. in the 4600 block of Norwich Avenue.

Aug. 13

A burglary was reported at 3:20 p.m. in the 4900 block of Fulton Avenue.

Aug. 14

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 12:01 a.m. in the 4400 block of Fulton Avenue.

A petty theft was reported at 11 a.m.  in the 14000 block of Riverside Drive.

A petty theft was reported at noon in the 4800 block of Hazeltine Avenue.

A recovered vehicle and a stolen vehicle were reported at 12:20 p.m.  in the 14400 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A petty theft from vehicle was reported at 3:30 p.m. in the 12800 block of Burbank Boulevard.

Aug. 15

A robbery and a stolen vehicle were reported at 10:40 a.m. at the intersection of Van Nuys Boulevard and Riverside Drive.

An assault with a deadly weapon was reported at 11:45 a.m. at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Coldwater Canyon Boulevard.

A petty theft from vehicle was reported at 11 a.m. in the 3700 block of Oakfield Drive.

A petty theft was reported at 12:35 p.m. in the 14800 block of Morrison Street.

A petty theft from vehicle was reported at 3 p.m. in the 4600 block of Kester Avenue.

A petty theft was reported at 3:45 p.m. in the 14400 block of Burbank Boulevard.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 9 p.m.in the 3600 block of Dixie Canyon Place.

A recovered vehicle and a stolen vehicle were reported at 11 p.m.  in the 13500 block of Burbank Boulevard.

Aug. 16

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 8:30 p.m. in the 4600 block of Coldwater Canyon Avenue.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 8:30 p.m. in the 4800 block of Sylmar Avenue.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 11:30 p.m. in the 5200 block of Norwich Avenue.

Aug. 17

A stolen vehicle was reported at 6 a.m. in the 14100 block of Moorpark Street.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 8 p.m. in the 4600 block of Ventura Canyon Avenue.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 9 p.m. in the 4600 block of Allott Avenue.

A burglary was reported at 10 p.m. in the 12900 block of Riverside Drive.

Aug. 18

A recovered vehicle and a stolen vehicle were reported at 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Noble Avenue and Ventura Boulevard.

A burglary from vehicle was reported at 11:30 a.m. in the 5200 block of Coldwater Canyon Avenue.
