Lane Closed On Northbound 405 After Truck Crashes Into Wall

SHERMAN OAKS, CA — A car crash on the northbound 405 freeway is causing a traffic slowdown in Sherman Oaks. California Highway Patrol reported the crash at 1:05 p.m. near Ventura Boulevard.

CHP said the crash involved a Dodge Ram that was towing a boat that collided into the right shoulder wall. The truck and boat were temporarily blocking the slow lane.

A tow truck was called to the scene to remove the truck and boat, and CHP said another car was potentially involved in the crash. A SIG Alert was issued at 1:42 p.m. blocking the slow lane for about an hour.
