The Sierra Madre Library invites children of all ages to join in mini rose float making Dec. 24 with special guest Sierra Madre Rose Float Association president Bob Young. The 10 a.m. event will include stories, songs and some play time as well as the mini-float making. A preschool story hour scheduled simultaneously will include making New Year's party hats. The library, located at 440 W. Sierra Madre Blvd., will be closed on Christmas and New Year's Day. Call 626-355-7186 for more details.
