Where is the Cheapest Gas in the Sierra Madre Area?

As gas prices push past $4.19 per gallon, you're probably wondering where to find the best deals in town.

Remember when the few pennies difference between competing gas stations didn't really matter? The per-gallon price was somewhere in the mid $2-range, and hardly worth your effort to wheel across town and suffer three extra traffic lights?

But, with gasoline running $4.19 in some places, and $3.99 in others--it's arguably worth it now. AAA lists the national average gas price at $3.58, and the California average at $4.03.

Perhaps surprisingly, Sierra Madre actually has some of the least expensive gas in the immediate San Gabriel Valley area. Of course, that doesn't mean it's exactly cheap.

But unless you're paying in cash, Arco slaps customers with a $0.45 surcharge on debit card purchases.
