• Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce: A year in review (thecoastnews.com) — Solana Beach’s Chamber of Commerce is wrapping up a busy year of business growth, networking events, and 22 ribbon cuttings that strengthened the local economy. The Chamber expanded training programs, partnered with Torrey Pines High School, upgraded member tools, and is already gearing up for January’s Battle of the Bands and the 45th annual Fiesta del Sol in 2026.
   

• Solana Beach approves resolution against offshore drilling (sandiegouniontribune.com) — Solana Beach’s City Council has unanimously passed a resolution opposing new offshore drilling, citing risks to local beaches, tourism, and wildlife. The move aligns the city with other regional governments, recalls past oil spill impacts, and comes as a federal public comment period on the drilling plan remains open through January 23.
