An upcoming workshop is designed to help local entrepreneurs go “From Kitchen to Market” and also provide the tools for packaged food startups to gain a competitive edge in growing their business.
It is one of three seminars being hosted this spring by the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Business & Entrepreneurship Center at Napa Valley College. These hands-on, highly interactive seminars are limited to 12 participants.
The worskhop instructor for “From Kitchen to Market” is Anni Minuzzo, a 26-year veteran of the specialty food industry and consultant for the Small Business Development Center in San Francisco and the North Bay. Topics covered include the planning and production process, capitalization options, creative marketing ideas, and the distribution network.
