Photos: 2022 Valley Of The Moon Vintage Festival

The event marked the 198th Sonoma Valley grape harvest and included time-honored traditions of the Grape Stomp and Blessing of the Grapes.

SONOMA, CA — Sonoma Valley celebrated the region's 198th grape harvest during the Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival, held Oct. 7-8.

Sonoma Valley winemakers, grape growers, community members and visitors gathered in honor of the region's rich winemaking legacy and agricultural heritage in the birthplace of California wine.

Festivities held at the historic Sonoma Plaza included time-honored traditions such as the Blessing of the Grapes, Historical Reenactment of the Double Wedding and the Sonoma Valley Grape Stomp, as well as an artisan's festival and live music.
