Beware: Road Work Ahead

Two major road work projects will not close any roads, but will likely slow traffic in .

Construction on the both projects is scheduled to start in mid-August and run through mid-October.

 Here are that will be affected:

• France Street from Broadway to Fourth Street East, Leveroni Road from the bike path to Broadway, and Fifth Street West from West MacArthur Street to Harrington Street.

Construction activities include new corner curb ramps, storm drainage improvements, asphalt paving and striping.

One, brief, detour will be required on France Street, during storm drain installation.

• Third Street West from Bettencourt Street to Andrieux Street, Fourth Street West from Arroyo Way to Bettencourt and Hayes Street. 

Construction activities include corner curb ramp replacement, asphalt paving and pavement striping.

In addition, curb ramp replacement work will occur at the corner of Second Street West and Andrieux Street and the corner of First Street West and West MacArthur Street.

All residents who live on streets affected by the construction will be contacted in advance.
