Child Porn Arrest: Santa Rosa PD Says 12,000 Graphic Images Found
A 22-year-old Sonoma County man allegedly had over 12,000 videos and photos of graphic child pornography on one of his devices.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Santa Rosa police arrested a man Wednesday on suspicion of possessing child pornography. The Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and National Center for Missing and Exploited Children detected child pornography being downloaded and uploaded at an internet provider address in Santa Rosa this month, said SRPD police Sgt. Brenda Harrington.
Police received the images and interviewed several people and wrote multiple search warrants, Harrington said.
Detectives interviewed Ryan Imschweiler, 22, on Nov. 14 and seized computer devices from his home in unincorporated Sonoma County northeast of Santa Rosa.

Detectives discovered more than 12,000 videos and images of graphic child pornography on one of the devices, Harrington said. The device also contained the original child pornography images that started the investigation, according to Harrington.
Police said it does not appear that Imschweiler knew any of the children depicted in the pornographic images.
