Convicted Felon Arrested In U.S. 101 Road-Rage Incident: CHP
The Rincon Valley man accused of brandishing a gun at another driver was tracked down with the help of the FBI.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A Rincon Valley man and convicted felon has been arrested on suspicion of brandishing a firearm during a road rage case in December, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Joseph Menicucci was arrested at his residence Wednesday thanks in part to FBI assistance in locating him, CHP officials said.
According to the CHP, a victim reported the road rage incident on Dec. 8 and said the suspect allegedly brandished a firearm on southbound U.S. Highway 101 north of Todd Road while also having a young child in the right-front passenger seat.

Investigators followed up on the description of the suspect and a vehicle. A warrant was eventually obtained to search Menicucci's residence, where authorities found firearms and accessories, according to the CHP.
Menicucci has been booked into Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, illegally manufacturing and transferring firearms, possession of an extended magazine, possession of a ballistic vest and child endangerment.
