Schell Vista Fire Protection District board seats up for contest

Voting begins at 7 a.m. tomorrow, Nov. 8, and runs until 8 p.m. There are no national issues being decided, and a single local issue occupies the Sonoma ballot.
The lone Sonoma Valley issue up for vote is two seats on the board.
Two incumbants – Bob Mclean and Frederick Unsworth – are vying against Dan Weber, a retired electrician, for the two board seats.

The Schell Vista Fire Protection District covers 60-square-miles spanning the surroundings of the City of Sonoma, from Lovall Valley Road, down Highway 37 through Highway 116.
The District's 40 volunteer firefighters staff two stations, and respond to medical calls and highway accidents, in addition to fighting residential, commercial and wild fires.
