Fatal Sonoma County ATV Crash Victim Identified
A local man died Sunday when he crashed his go-cart, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office.
SONOMA VALLEY, CA — The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office has identified a Sonoma man who died in an all-terrain vehicle crash on private property in unincorporated Sonoma County Sunday as 60-year-old Mark John Maffioli.
Maffioli's go-cart crashed into a trailer and water pipe at 30-40 mph on Burndale Road in the Schellville area east of Sonoma around 4:15 p.m. Sunday, sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Crum said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
