Happy Dog Named Best Place for a Hamburger in Town

Despite the hot-dog centric name, everyone orders burgers at Happy Dog. (Try the french roll burger, it's "the best," according to Patch readers.) Located at the exact meeting place between Sonoma and its grittier urban sibling "the Springs," the menu is utilitarian in every way. You can only get burgers and hot-dogs, with any kind of fixings and cooking style – always with BBQ sauce. 

It's not the best spot for vegetarians, but they do have shakes and fries. Expect utilitarian service: it's quick and systematic, allowing a few employees to feed an army.
