Man Arrested For Possessing, Transporting Meth In Sonoma Valley: Police
A Sonoma County sheriff's deputy who pulled over a car Monday evening arrested the driver on suspicion of possessing controlled substances.
SONOMA VALLEY, CA -- A sheriff's deputy in Sonoma County arrested a man Monday on suspicion of possessing controlled substances, according to the Sheriff's Office.
On Monday evening a deputy in the Sonoma Valley conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration, and during the stop, the driver displayed nervous behavior. As a result, a Sonoma police K9 searched the vehicle and located just over six ounces of methamphetamine.
According to sheriff's officials, the driver was identified as Michael Fletcher of Boyes Hot Springs. He was arrested on suspicion of transporting and possessing controlled substances for sale, the Sheriff's Office says.

Fletcher was booked into the Sonoma County Jail.
