Older Man, Woman Found Dead In North Bay Apartment

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — An older man and woman were found dead in an apartment in El Verano, a community on the eastern border of Sonoma Valley, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Tuscany Place about 1:17 a.m. on Friday, the sheriff's office said on social media.

Detectives from the Violent Crime and Crime Scene Investigations units took over the inquiry, the sheriff's office said.

The deaths were believed to be an isolated incident with no threat to the community, deputies said.
