Pedestrian Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash In Santa Rosa

Emergency personnel arrived to find a man deceased at the scene, according to officers.

SANTA ROSA, CA — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run on U.S. Highway 101 southbound near Steele Lane on Saturday, the California Highway Patrol said.

CHP officers were dispatched at around 10:10 p.m. after reports of a pedestrian lying on the road.
Emergency personnel arrived to find a man deceased at the scene, according to officers.

The suspect vehicle was not present, and details about it remain limited.

Authorities closed the two left lanes for an investigation but opened them on Sunday at around 1:10 a.m.
