Salon Novo Raises Over $1600 for Shelter

In a day of marathon hair styling Salon Novo, Sonoma's resident eco-chic salon, raised $1650 for Sonoma Overnight Support.

In a day of marathon hair styling, Sonoma's resident eco-chic salon, asked staff to donate a day of cutting and styling time to aid Sonoma Overnight Support (S.O.S), Sonoma's only homeless shelter.

Sonoma County's latest homeless count unearthed 183 homeless in Sonoma Valley, "a shocking number," read a release from the Salon.

So, on the heels of the salon's month-long fundraiser to aid tsunami relief efforts in Japan, the staff gathered on Sunday, June 12, to style - with all proceeds going to S.O.S.

The salon also raffled off eco beauty product gift sets from Glamglo, Onesta, No.4, and Prive.

The Salon raised $1650 for S.O.S., which will provide for for the shelter throughout the year.
