A full list of the potential cuts is available on the district's website. Cuts include increasing class size in grades K-3 – which administraters anticipate may save between $200,000 and $800,000 – eliminating several school days or staff development days or reducing funding to the Sonoma Valley Adult School.
Meetings will include a powerpoint summary on the budget cuts, along with a question and answer session. Both meetings will have childcare and Spanish translation.
Cuts will be approved by July of 2012 for the following fiscal year.
