Counterfeiting: A 15-year-old Eldridge boy used two counterfeit $20 bills to purchase food in the cafeteria. He passed the first bill at 9:50 a.m.; staff caught him attempting to pass a second at lunch time. The kid admitted to using the counterfeit bills, and had a third fake $20 in his wallet. He was cited for passing a counterfeit currency and petty theft.
Fireworks on Campus: At 11:51 a.m. 15-year-old Sonoma boy's mom called the police department to notify them that her son had gone to with an explosive device in his backpack – she said she worried he might be 'a danger' to the school. Officers searched the boy and found a variety of illegal fireworks and an extended fuse in his backpack. He was cited to Youth and Family Services for possession of illegal fireworks.

Improper Attire: At 5:30 p.m. police cited a 16-year-old El Verano resident for not wearing his helmet while skating in the .

Driving and Chatting: In a five hours period, deputies issued five to drivers chatting on cell phones behind the wheel. Police spotted the drivers between Fifth Street West at Andreiux and Sixth Street at West Macarthur.
Drinking at the Wrong Place, Wrong Time: Police cited a 30-year-old transient after watching him drink a beer, spot an officer, and throw the beer into a planter box in front of the Boyes Hot Springs Post Office. The man was on probation to not posses alcohol, and he was cited for a probation violation. A few hours later, the same officer spotted the same man hanging out in the Plaza, drinking. He was cited, again, for a probation violation and was ejected from the Plaza.
Marijuana Transportation: Deputies spotted a gold '93 Saturn with expired registration and stopped the car at West Spain Street at Fifth Street West. Inside the car, the deputy smelled marijuana wafting from the car. Neither the driver, Beatrice Freeman, a 57-year-old Geurnville resident, or the two passengers, Mark Reay, 48, and David Galleguillo, 47, both of Geurnville, had a medicinal marijuana card. Inside the car, police found 229.8 grams or marijuana in a backpack with a glass meth pipe. Galleguillo was arrested, and charged with possession of smoking paraphernalia and a felony charge of transportation of marijuana. The other two were charged with possession of marijuana.

Meth Pipe: A probation search of a 35-year-old Sonoma residents West Spain home uncovered a meth pipe and a knife. He was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and violating his probation.
Burglary: Someone broke into a home on the 200 block of Malay Street over the weekend, entering the residence through a window. .
