Warrant: Darryl Pruitt, a 32-year-old Sonoma man, was arrested at on an outstanding warrant at at 10:15am.

Man Down: Just after 6pm, a patrolling officer picked up a 40-year-old Sonoma man, passed out drunk under the awning at . He was charged with being drunk in public and booked into Sonoma County Jail.

Child Abuse: A passerby called in a report of child abuse just after 10pm after witnessing an altercation between a 12-year-old son and his dad, 42. The father told police he believed his son left a stove burner on, got upset and punched the kid on both shoulders. The son, who was uninjured, said his dad had left the burner on, and forgot about it. The father spent the night with a friend, and the case was forwarded to child and protective services for follow-up.
Sunday, Sept. 11
DUI: Sonoma police pulled over a silver Jeep Cherokee after he plowed straight through the right turn only lane on First Street West at West Napa, just after 2am. The driver, Kyle Conrad a 24-year-old Boyes Hot Springs man, appeared intoxicated, and a breath test placed his blood alcohol level at .14 and .15 percent. He was booked into Sonoma County Jail, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
Death Threats: After receiving a report that a 36-year-old Boyes Hot Springs man threatened to kill his wife, the Fairfield Police Department called in an arrest request to the Sonoma PD. At 3:47pm, an officer picked up the man, who was drinking at the Sonoma Brewing Company, arrested him, and transported him to the Solano County Line on Highway 37.
Monday, Sept. 12
Abandoned Bike: A grey men’s mountain bike, abandoned at Sonoma Valley High School, was turned into the police department. It is valued at $150.
Underage Smoking: An officer watched as a male Creekside High School student stood in front of the Fast and Easy Market, smoking a cigarette. He was joined by three Creekside friends; all of whom possessed various amounts of smoking paraphernalia. All four were cited for possessing smoking paraphernalia under age, one was cited for giving false information to a police officer.
Tuesday, Sept. 13
Under the Influence: Sonoma Police picked up an 18-year-old Boyes Hot Springs man who was sitting on a bus stop in front of , just after midnight, looking disoriented. An officer approached him and the man had difficulty with conversation: he called the officer ‘dad’ and repeatedly told him ‘I love you.’ Originally he told police that he was completely clean, except for a toke of marijuana; later he admitted that he’d snorted methamphetamines an hour prior. He was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of drugs and booked into jail.
Not Again: By noon, the young man he was out of jail, harassing business owners on the 500 block of Second Street West. An officer spotted him walking in the parking lot of the 76 Station on Second Street West and West Napa. The deputy pulled into the station, the young man shouted at him speaking rapidly and incoherently, telling the officer he was trying to ‘be a Christian rapper.’ The man flexed his arms, preparing for a physical confrontation and the officer pushed him onto the hood of his patrol car. He was arrested, again, for obstructing an investigation.
Lost Property: A San Mateo man vacationing at the El Pueblo Inn lost a sapphire necklace valued at $5,000.
Stolen Property: A resident of the 19,100 block of Robinson Road reported that several Fed Ex and UPS packages were stolen off of his front porch.
Wednesday, Sept. 14
Graffiti: During the evening, someone marked a company sign, sitting in the back of a pickup truck parked on First Street West, with red spray paint. A similar mark was made on a garage on the 800 block of First Street West.
