The community center fest infultrates the Plaza with a whole lot of beef. Pick up an Ox Plate, with BBQ beef, corn on the cob, baked beans, and Basque Boulangerie bread. (The Ox “Dog” Plate substitutes a gourmet seasoned sausage for the beef, and the Kids Plate is a smaller version of the Ox Plate.)
This year's festival is dedicated to Howie Ehret, a community leader who was the "driving force" behind many community center initiatives. "He ran a tight ship, and this year, we salute his dedication and passion," reads the program notes.
