Tickets Still Available for Sonoma Valley Speaker Series on U.S. Foreign Policy

Retired Gen. Tony Zinni will discuss U.S. foreign policy at the Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance Speaker Series Friday, Sept. 19.

Tickets are still available for the next Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance Speaker Series Friday, Sept. 19, in which Retired Gen. Tony Zinni will discuss America’s current foreign policy strategy.

Zinni will sit down for a conversation with Vice Admiral (Ret.) Jody A. Breckenridge to discuss his new book, “Before The First Shots Are Fired: How America Can Win Or Lose Off The Battlefield,” which will be published later this month.

“I think General Zinni will have valuable insights to offer on what is happening in the world today, especially in the Middle East where he has a great deal of experience. It should be a fascinating discussion,” said Kathy Witkowicki, Mentoring Alliance executive director.

Zinni, a retired U.S. Marine Corps four-star general and former Commander in Chief of the U.S. Central Command, served as a special U.S. envoy to Israel and the Palestinian Authority in 2002. In his fourth book, Zinni examines why the U.S. currently finds itself fighting so many wars that end without a clear victory.
