• Report of Possible DUI Driver Leads to Three Arrests on Felony Drug Charges in Sonora (crimevoice.com) — Sonora police recently arrested three people on multiple felony and misdemeanor drug charges after investigating a reported DUI near South Washington and Elkin streets. Officers say they found suspected fentanyl, Xanax, and other narcotics in a vehicle at the AMPM on Pesce Way, then detained a Sonora resident and two Sacramento residents, who were booked into Tuolumne County Jail.
   

• BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Sierra boys top 2024 win total with OT win at Pitman (mantecabulletin.com) — Sonora High’s girls basketball team fell 64-40 at home to East Union, despite a 13-point effort from standout Kylie Serva. The roundup also highlights Sierra’s boys surpassing last season’s win total with an overtime victory at Pitman, plus JV and freshman results.
