The South Gate Police Department (SGPD) has informed Patch that that a structure fire took place at 8900 Cypress Avenue at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.
“They were doing some construction work, and it caught fire,” said a watch commander on duty from the SGPD police department. “The Los Angeles County Fire Department told us before taking it out in about ten to fifteen minutes.”
No one was injured in the fire.
