Two Seriously Injured in 105 Freeway Crash
The victims were taken to St. Francis Medical Center.

DOWNEY (CNS) - Two people were hospitalized ON Sunday with major injuries that they suffered when they were ejected from a speeding car that overturned and burst into flames on the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway in Downey, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred on the westbound 105 east of Lakewood Boulevard around 3:12 p.m. Sunday, said CHP Officer Patrick Kimball.
"Witnesses told officers a black BMW was speeding down middle lanes at 70 miles per hour and may have hit a bump at 100 miles per hour and flipped,'' Kimball said.

Two people were ejected from the car, which became fully engulfed in flames.
The two suffered "major injuries,'' CHP Sgt. William Osegueda said at the scene. The cause of the accident is under investigation, he said.
