3 Injured In Series Of Alhambra Area Wrecks
One vehicle became lodged underneath a tractor trailer, and, in a separate wreck, a two motorcyclists were hurt after hitting a parked car.

ALHAMBRA, CA — Three people were hospitalized Friday morning following two separate accidents in Alhambra, including one in which a car ended up lodged underneath a tractor-trailer.
Police responded at 11:58 p.m. Thursday to an accident near Chapel Avenue and Valley Boulevard and discovered the driver of a car had crashed into a big rig and the vehicle was lodged underneath the trailer, according to Lt. J. Hammond of the Alhambra Police Department.
The driver was extricated and transported to a hospital in unknown condition, he said.

The second accident happened after midnight when two people on motorcycles hit a parked car near Westminster Avenue and Valley Boulevard, Hammond said.
Both riders were taken to a hospital in moderate condition, he said.

Investigations into both accidents are underway. The intersection of Chapel Avenue and Valley Boulevard was expected to re-open by 6:30 a.m., said Hammond.
