• Basketball Recap: Artesia Picks Up Third Consecutive Win (maxpreps.com) — South Pasadena High’s boys basketball team dropped a tight 58-56 road game to Artesia, their lowest-scoring outing of the season and their third loss in four games. Star guard Rod Khollesi poured in 36 points and seven rebounds, while Nick Rios added ten. The 5-3 Tigers now prepare for a tough matchup against nationally ranked Kentridge on Friday.

Residents helped cut costs by donating bark, leaves, and flowers for the 20,000-bloom design, which showcases 15 rose varieties and highlights the city’s deep, 130-year float-building tradition.
