A Sweet Scene at Ellen's Silkscreening (Photos)

If you were distracted by the police officer directing traffic at Mission Street and Mound Avenue Thursday, you might've missed the sweet scene: turned into a cupcake place.

A film crew was shooting a commercial for Special K Protein Shake, and dolled up the store's exterior with a quaint light pole, flowers and, of course, cupcakes. 

"We had so much fun being a cipcake shop for a day,'' owner Ellen Daigle told Patch. 

The crew spent hours in the near 100-degree weather, keeping the cupcakes chilled until the last minute. That's when one crew member climbed into a cupcake suit and squatted next to the bright red Volkwagen Beetle, holding the confection for an actress sipping her protein shake.
