Kieffer-Wright Jumps to State Field Title
South Pasadena High sophomore Claire Kieffer-Wright clinched the state title by matching her career-best jump of 5 feet 10 inches in becoming the first local champion since South Pasadena alumnus Sam Pons won the state 3,200-meter crown in 2010.
