UPDATE: SPMS Boys Volleyball Undefeated

Still undefeated, the 7th and 8th grade volleyball team played in a tournament Wednesday.

UPDATE: The South Pasadena Middle School Boy's Volleyball team played in a Round Robin tournament at Santa Fe Middle School Wednesday and won the championship. After winning multiple games that day, the team moved to the playoff round where they beat Jefferson and went on to play Santa Fe for the championship. This week, they will play Jefferson again Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in league play.  

May 19, 2011  Boys Volleyball team is undefeated to date.  

With just one repeat player from last year, Adam Stanford Moore, the team is comprised of various basketball, soccer, baseball and track students.

"They are off to a great start," said team mom Sandie Tom. "They get better every time I see them!"

Thus far, the team has played Santa Fe, Foothills, Northview and Huntington. You can catch them in action Thursday evening at 3:30 p.m. at Oak Avenue Middle School in Temple City.
