Police: Burglar, Lookout, Caught on Camera
A building surveillance camera captured an unidentified man stealing items and checking car handles in the 700 block of Prospect Avenue.
With his partner keeping lookout, an unidentified man stole a car cover to a Jeep Wagoneer, lifted a few door handles to see which were unlocked, and finally made off with a laundry basket filled with items, police said Friday.
A crime bulletin from South Pasadena Police showed the man and an unidentified woman in a carport in the 700 block of Prospect Avenue on Wednesday just after 5 p.m., casing the area before swiping the goods. The man stole the basket from inside the building's laundry room.
