South Pasadena Traffic Stop Yields Drugs And Stolen Mail: Police
South Pasadena Police pulled over a man who allegedly had a trove of stolen mail and drugs.

SOUTH PASADENA, CA — A Los Angeles man was arrested in South Pasadena after police stopped his vehicle and illegal drugs and stolen property were found inside, authorities said.
Officers stopped Lloyd Eppie, 37, about 7 p.m. Friday in the area of Mockingbird Lane and Raymond Hill Road after a report that his vehicle appeared suspicious, South Pasadena police said.
A records check revealed Eppie had a felony arrest warrant from a neighboring jurisdiction, police said.

Eppie admitted he had narcotics in his vehicle and police searched it, finding large quantities of methamphetamine and heroin, a scale and narcotics paraphernalia, police said. Officers also found stolen property, stolen mail and United States Postal Service arrow keys used to burglarize multi-unit mailboxes.
Eppie was arrested on suspicion of possessing narcotics for sale, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools and the felony warrant and the evidence relating to the arrow keys will be forwarded to U.S. Postal Service investigators, police said.

Eppie is behind bars on $30,000 bail, according to sheriff's inmate records.
