A Year in Review for Rio Vista Elementary School

What a year for in Toluca Lake.

Valentine-Grams, See's Candy. Science Field Trip, Baja Fresh Night and many more fundraisers helped the school do some amazing thigns this year.

Thursday Pride Awards - Citizenship

Friday Rio Vista Talent Show! Show #1 @ 3pm Show #2 @ 4:30pm in the auditorium (purchase your own copy of both shows on DVD or flash drive - order forms to be sent home!)

BOOK SWAP: Last chance to clean off your book shelves, and help us try to send every student home with a book this summer. Tomorrow morning please drop off any old books. We are especially looking for chapter books and young adult books for the older students. Thanks!

FOOD DRIVE: Please find it in your heart to throw a few extra things in your grocery shopping cart this week for our Rio Vista families in need. Especially helpful items include: canned chicken, canned tuna, & pancake mix. Drop off in the Parent Center.

Walmart is asking 4 survey questions about its new bonus box top program Earn More for My School. No newsletter to sign up for, no information asked of you, just 4 questions about whether you are aware of this new program or not. 

Avery Give Back to Schools Contest

Just discovered a promotion from Avery. Once registered at givebacktoschools.avery.com you can vote for the school of your choice everyday. The top five voting schools will receive 25,000 ($2,500.00) Box Tops for Education® coupons, $10,000 worth of Avery school supplies and $1,000 worth of gift cards. 25 runner up schools will receive 10,000 ($1,000.00) Box Top coupons. 10 random winners with more than 100 votes will receive 5,000 ($500.00) Box Tops for Education coupons.
