ONLINE AUCTIONS BEGIN TOMORROW MONDAY 3/26

Two online Carpenter auctions are getting underway starting tomorrow, Monday, March 26th, and we've pulled out all the stops to bring you two great items to bid on. First, we have tickets to the Kids' Choice Awards.

Next Sunday, March 31st, Nickelodeon will be having their 25th annual Kids' Choice Awards and we want you to bid high and often for 2 tickets + parking for this once-in-a-lifetime event. Multi-platinum recording artist and global superstar Katy Perry will break the sound barrier at USC’s Galen Center with her first live performance at Nickelodeon’s 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards.  She will join host Will Smith and a powerhouse roster of celebrity presenters, including Chris RockEmma StoneAndrew Garfield, Zac EfronHeidi KlumVictoria JusticeMiranda CosgroveBig Time RushChris Colfer, Cee Lo Green as well as recently announced performers, UK pop sensation One Direction.  You have a chance to bid on these tickets ...if you get them, I guarantee your kid will have the time of their life! 

Next, we have two exclusive tickets to a Dancing with the Stars Results Show.

online auction!!  This season is off to a
fantastic start with lots of amazing dancing
and GREAT performances!  Tickets are valid
for any Tuesday results show in April!  The
winner should choose the Tuesday (in
advance) and then get ready to watch the Rumba!! 

Our online auction will take place starting at 9am tomorrow (Monday) through this Wednesday at 9pm for tickets to both The Kids' Choice Awards and Dancing with the Stars.

The 9th Annual Spelling Bee has come to a close with all the excitement and intensity of years past. Congratulations to all our Classroom Champions who earned their seat in the Bee out of over 100 other students in their grade. 3rd and 4th graders are already looking forward to their next chance at the coveted Winners Bee Bobble Head Trophy and Runner up Victory medal.  Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this PTA Event possible each year.

CARPENTER'S AFTER-SCHOOLMUSICAL THEATER

Carpenter's after-school musical theater group premieres the "No Show Show" - an original musical production - Wednesday, March 28 and Thursday, March 29 at 6:30pm both days.  Come and see some of our school's best and brightest talents shine in this funny, heartwarming, and upbeat musical.   Tickets are $5 for children and $8 for adults.  They are available from Mrs. Taweel in Room 36 or after school from her in the Cougar Auditorium.  Hope you can join us!!

REMINDER: STUDENT MESSAGES/ONE LINERS

Forms to buy Student Messages to go in The Bootleggers' Ball Event Program are going home in backpacks this week.  Students can write a one line message to thank their teacher; or say goodbye to their culminating friends; or parents can congratulate their child on a great year.  Questions?  Contact Julie Hinman at garbanzogirl1@aol.com and Sharon Rotmensz at sharonrotmensz@gmail.com.

REMINDER: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO SELL STUDENT MESSAGES!! 

If you are available for 20-40 minutes at drop off and/or pick up next week to sell Student Messages on campus, please contact Bill Seymour at william@twodadz.com.

REMINDER: TIME TO ORDER GREETING CARDS!

Thursday March 29th is the deadline for ordering your child's personalized greeting cards. Purchase these special keepsakes. Boxes are $21 each, and $8.50 from each box goes directly to supporting our school. New this year - order 3 boxes of the same image and you'll get a 4th box free. This bonus box includes an assortment of personal cards from various students. Please place your order forms, including a check made out to PFC, in an envelope and put it in the Greeting Card envelope in your classroom or bring it to the school office.

PTA OFFICERS & EXEC BOARD MTG THIS THURSDAY

The PTA will be holding a brief Officers/ Executive Board Meeting this Thursday at 8am in the Parent Resource Room. This is not the regular monthly meeting. This is a special meeting to review several items before the spring break in preparation for the regular Board Meeting on Tuesday 4/10. Officers need to attend. Attendance of all other committee heads and other participants is optional. Questions? Contact carpenterpta@gmail.com.
