Chickens, Bees and Free Fruit Trees at Studio City Event
Hundreds turned out despite a rainy day.
Hundreds of people turned out to learn about raising chickens in your yard, developing a bee hive and finding out how to best cultivate fruit trees.
The Studio City Neighborhood Council partnered with nonprofit, The Village Gardeners, and other local institutions, neighborhood councils, nonprofits and schools to educate and inform on and engage and activate the community at large in good food. And, through Million Trees LA, each household adopted their choice of a lime, apple, avocado or orange tree.
