Domestic Violence Investigation Underway in Studio City Area

STUDIO CITY, CA -- A domestic violence suspect who was thought to be barricaded today in a Studio City apartment was ultimately determined not to be at the location.

Officers were sent to the 10900 block of Bluffside Drive about 5 a.m. on a report of an assault involving a domestic violence suspect, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. No injuries were immediately reported.

Some evacuations were initiated in the area, and officers worked to take the suspect into custody, but determined late Thursday morning that the suspect was not inside, police said. The investigation was continuing.
