60 Years of Loving Lucy—An All-Day Event

An all day event of tributes, and a symposium with people from the actual show, as well as a special performance of a musical comedy tribute to the show will all be going on this Saturday at the Hollywood Museum.

For $60 the 60 years of Lucy will be yours for the enjoyment. An all-day event of celebrities and memorabilia will be on hand.


Visit the ultimate exhibit and celebrate America's favorite comedienne and redhead, and TV's greatest comedy series, the genius of Desi Arnaz and Desilu.

LUCY DAY SCHEDULE:

10:00 am -- Hollywood Museum Doors Open

Explore four floors of the Hollywood Museum of over 10,000 items of Hollywood's famous moments, including the "LUCY at 100 and "I LOVE LUCY" at 60" Exhibit- the largest in the United States outside the Lucy Museum in Jamestown. Mingle at collector's booths and Lucy vendors.

1:00 pm -- I LOVE LUCY" LIVE ON STAGE - Cast of Theatrical Play will perform a medley of original songs

1:30 pm -- Panel Reunion with Original Cast/ Crew Members  

MODERATOR: Tom Watson - Lucy's publicist; author/TV Historian and creator of All About Lucy the Webzine for Lucy Fans & Collectors

Michael Stern - Author of "I Had a Ball" and Lucy's 'No 1 Lucy Fan'

Dann Cahn - original member "I Love Lucy" Creative Team - best known as the head editor of the TV series, I Love Lucy and for his work as the head of post-production of Desilu

Carole Cook  Actress on "The Lucy Show," protégé and long time friend of Lucy

Bernard Weitzman - Executive VP of Desilu Productions

Frank Gorey  Lucy's longtime driver and manager of Lucille Ball's household. 

Shirley Mitchell - Actress and co-star (Marion Strong) on "I Love Lucy" Show

4:00 pm -- VIP Dessert Reception with Panelists, Lucy Collectors and Vendors

Panelists will be able to give autographs at the reception and meet the fans
