"You Can't Predict...But You Can Prepare"
Starting Monday April 4th, 6:00pm-10:00pm for four consecutive Monday nights (April 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th) at the Colfax Elementary School Auditorium.
Please join us Monday April 4th, from 6:30pm-9:00pm for Community Emergency Response Team Training Class, known as "CERT". The class runs for four (4) consecutive Monday's from 6:00-10:00 refreshments will be provided. An additional CPR class will be available for a cost of $25.

The CERT Class is FREE and is being taught by LAFD Captain/Paramedic Stacy Gerlich. The information and knowledge you will get out of it is PRICELESS!! The class size is limited.
You will learn such basics as how to: manage utilities and put out small fires, treat the three medical killers by opening airways, controlling bleeding, and treating for shock, provide basic medical aid, search for and rescue victims safely, organize yourselves and spontaneous volunteers to be effective, and collect disaster intelligence to support first responder efforts.
