The community is invited to take the Los Angeles Fire Department Community Emergency Response Team training.
Experts from the Los Angeles Fire Department have agreed to hold a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) class taught at the North Hollywood police station's community room.
The CERT training is designed to prepare individuals and communities so they are better prepared to handle a natural disaster.

The training would take place on three consecutive Saturdays starting June 11, at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, June 18, at 8:30 am, and Saturday, June 25 at 8:30 a.m.
Each class is approximately eight hours.

There is a limited amount of spots available in the class so please contact the North Hollywood Area Community Relations Unit (Officer Suzuki or Officer Valdez) if you are interested.
