'Game Of Thrones' Actor Suspected Of Sexual Contact With Minor: LAPD

LOS ANGELES, CA — An actor suspected of engaging in "online sexually explicit communication with a minor" may have additional victims, Los Angeles police said Wednesday

Los Angeles Police Department detectives urged potential victims of 50-year-old Joseph Gatt, of Los Angeles, to come forward. Gatt, who is known for his roles in "Dumbo," "Game of Thrones," "Thor" and "Star Trek Into Darkness," was arrested last week at his home in the Beverly Grove area on a felony warrant for "contact with a minor for sexual offense."

The police department released few details about the alleged crime since Gatt's April 6 arrest. Detectives served a search warrant at Gatt's home at 3rd Street and La Jolla Avenue "after they received information that Gatt had been engaged in online sexually explicit communication with a minor across state lines," according to an LAPD statement.

Gatt's other acting credits include "NCIS: New Orleans," several "Star Wars" video games and "Teen Wolf" according to IMDb, which listed his age as 47. In "Game of Thrones" he played Thenn Warg, a menacing wilding with a recurring role.

The Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force includes more than 100 federal and local affiliate agencies that detect and investigate child predators that use the Internet as a means to contact children or deal in child sexual abuse material.
