Hiker Breaks Ankle On Remote Studio City Trail

STUDIO CITY, CA — A man fractured his ankle on Saturday afternoon while he was hiking on a remote trail in Studio City, fire officials said.

First responders were sent to Fryman Canyon Park at 8401 Mulholland Drive at 11:17 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Paramedics were able to stabilize the hiker and hoist him to safety by helicopter. He was taken to a hospital, officials said.
